ABOUT US
Upper Crust Pizza & Pasta has been family-owned and operated on Mission Street since 1979. Joe and Sharon Carollo opened it with our family's recipes from Carini, Sicily. Their son Nick grew up here, and today he carries it forward with the same family recipes and dedication to great food and our Santa Cruz community.
We're known for our Sicilian-style thick crust square pizza. We make our pizza dough fresh every day, cut our vegetables by hand, roast our meats in our oven, and make our sauces in house. Our menu also has thin crust pizza, pasta, house-made meatballs and lasagna, oven-baked sandwiches, wings, salads, and our Sicilian Muffaletta, plus beer and wine. We have pizza by the slice all day, and gluten-free and vegan options too.
Dine in, take out, get delivery straight from us, or have us cater your next event. Join us for All-You-Can-Eat Pizza on Tuesday, All-You-Can-Eat Pasta and Trivia Night on Wednesday, and brunch on Sunday. And when you stop by, look for the big mural welcoming you to Santa Cruz on the side of our building.
